Graduate Program

As an IBM Procurement graduate you will participate in our 2-year Nordic Graduate Program, consisting of job-role specific learning programs, mentoring and networking. You will get the opportunity to create a differentiated client experience, learn from talented professionals, be coached and supported by people who care about your career as much as you do, get world class training and then apply it every day. Procurement Job Role and Requirements

IBM has established the Global Procurement organization to achieve best overall value for IBM when acquiring or contracting for goods, services, and intellectual property assets. Procurement is responsible for expenditures for a wide range of items that include goods and services used internally and by our customers, logistics services and intellectual property. The organization supports the needs of every part of IBM throughout the world in a centralized and integrated manner. Procurement is guided by its core values, principles and practices and evaluates supplier performance regularly to ensure that the best products and services are provided to IBM.
At IBM you'll thus have the chance to work with internal clients and external suppliers in almost every industry imaginable, across a broad range of business areas. This presents enormous business opportunities – with exposure to some of the best-known brands in the world. You'll work collaboratively to provide solutions that best meet our clients' needs and contribute to their marketplace success.

Throughout our Graduate Program, you’ll benefit from the support of a talented team and the exposure you need to apply your knowledge. Initially you will work alongside experienced buyers working with Clients and Suppliers, giving presentations, attend engagement meetings. After completion of our New to Procurement program and gaining experience in the field you’ll take on tenders and negotiations of your own and to deliver business value and savings to IBM. You’ll be placed in the specialist buying area that best meets our business needs and your ambitions.
